Earthquake Information

On March 11 the Tohoku region of Japan was hit by a massive earthquake which caused a tsunami and problems with several nuclear plants. Despite lasting damage to afflicted areas, the venue city of Kyoto is located far from the epicenter and was not directly affected. We therefore do not expect the conference to be affected by this tragic disaster.

Reminders: Early Registration and Student Support

Just a friendly reminder that there is only about one week left until the end of early registration rates! There rates are significantly discounted so we encourage participants to register as soon as possible.

Also for students wishing to apply for Student Support please do not to neglect to send your full name and the title of your accepted paper to studentsupport@evolang.org by 10 February 2012. Also please note, support is available for both domestic and international presenters of both oral and poster papers.
