The conference organizing committee realizes that the costs involved in attending a conference held in Japan may be prohibitively expensive for many potential student participants. We believe it would be a particular shame if financial constraints prevented students from submitting their own original work for presentation and so wish to do everything possible to reduce the burden on student presenters. Therefore, in addition to the discounted registration rates that will be made available to all students, we would like to announce the availability of a limited pool of funding allocated to directly support students accepted to give either Oral or Poster presentations at the conference. Details will be announced following the notification of paper acceptance, but for now we just wish to let people know that some support will be available.
